Prices against the Australian market

Our prices are $500 to $3,000 for a small business site, $3,000 to $10,000 for a larger site or web app, and $500 to $5,000 for an online store, in US dollars. For comparison, an independent Australian cost guide puts what most small businesses pay at A$2,000 to A$6,000 for a professionally designed site, and A$6,000 to A$15,000 for a custom build.

Privacy and accessibility, done properly

The Privacy Act 1988 applies to businesses with more than A$3 million in turnover and to some smaller ones, such as health providers. Either way, a clear privacy page and a cookie choice that keeps tracking off until a visitor agrees is good practice, and we build both. We also build to WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard used to judge whether a site works for people with disabilities under the Disability Discrimination Act.

Working across time zones

We work on UTC+5:30. Sydney and Melbourne are four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of us, Perth two and a half. Your afternoon is our working day, so a message sent after lunch usually has an answer before you finish, and calls fit comfortably into your afternoon.

Why an Australian business would hire a studio in India

The main reason is price: Australian agency rates reflect Australian costs, and a studio in India can do the same work for much less. What makes it work is the process: a written scope, designs you approve before the build, a staging site you can click through, and the same people designing and building, so nothing is lost between teams.

We can't meet you in person, and we're not tax advisers. Your accountant can tell you how paying an overseas supplier in US dollars works for your business, including GST.

Do you charge in Australian dollars?: Our prices are in US dollars. Your bank or card provider converts the payment, so check their exchange rate and fees.
Can you build on Shopify for an Australian store?: Yes. We set up Australian shipping zones, GST-inclusive pricing display and local payment options, then test a real order before launch.
Will the site be written in Australian English?: Yes. We use Australian spelling and the way Australians write addresses, phone numbers and prices.
Can you take over a site built by an Australian agency?: Yes. We start with an audit of the current site, so its search rankings and content carry over to the new one.
